The final days of Bay Chamber Chamber Concerts’ Summer Series feature five world-class concerts that start with an operatic performance featuring violist Roberto Diaz, president and CEO of Curtis Institute of Music, Thursday, Aug, 22 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rockport Opera House; a jazz and contemporary music performance led by luminaries George W. Russell Jr. (piano) and Mike Farquharson (bass) Friday, Aug. 23, at 6 p.m. at Union Hall; and a chamber and vocals program featuring opera and Broadway selections 9 p.m., also at Union Hall.

The final week will feature an evening of Bach, Balliett and Beethoven performed by members of The Declassified, a hot new ensemble of some of the most innovative young classical musicians on the scene today, Thursday, Aug. 29, at 7:30 p.m. at the Rockport Opera House; and A Late Summer Soiree 60-minute program featuring music by Balliett, Poulenc and Mozart Friday, Aug. 30, at 6 p.m. at Union Hall.
