Piotti to address Rockport Garden Club

The Rockport Garden Club's monthly business meeting will be held Thursday, Sept. 5, at 1 p.m. at the lower level of the Rockport Opera House, 6 Central St. Rockport .

John Piotti, executive director, Maine Farmland Trust will share his expertise on changes that are happening to farms in Maine in his presentation, Bringing Back the Land.

Farms are being available to young farmers, CSA's are flourishing, and people look for local farm products. An important economic revolution is happening in Maine farming.
