The Camden International Film Festival is seeking volunteers for the 2013 festival, which will run Thursday through Sunday, Sept. 26 through 29, in Camden, Rockport and Rockland Maine.

CIFF’s combination of screenings, workshops, networking events, music and parties would be impossible without the generosity and support of their outstanding volunteer teams. These are people who love film, love the Midcoast and work tirelessly to bring the best festival experience possible to all the festival’s attendees and guests.

CIFF volunteers get to enjoy an unusual, behind-the-scenes experience with one of the top 25 film festivals in the world for documentary films and filmmakers. Volunteers will meet new people, gain valuable production experience and enjoy access to screenings, workshops, forums and events.

There are numerous ways to get involved with the festival including taking tickets, driving the festival’s out-of-town guests, catering one of their parties or ushering. The festival is looking for dedicated volunteers this summer and during the festival weekend. Compensation for volunteers includes tickets to individual screenings, official CIFF T-shirts, access to CIFF’s volunteers-only party and screening and many more perks based on level of commitment.
