WORKS bookstore, gallery and fiber shop invites the public to a closing reception for its exhibit “FOUR at WORKS” Saturday, Aug. 17, from 5 to 7 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

The exhibit is on display through Sept. 1. “FOUR at WORKS” features the monitors of Stockton Springs artist Cathy Melio; the painting of Washington artist Karen Jelenfy; paintings and sculptures by Waldoboro artist Suzanne Phillips; and ink drawings by Ieva Tatarsky of Washington.

WORKS is located in the historic bank building at 21 East Main St./Route 1. There is parking both on the street and in the lot behind the building. Business hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call 899-5988.
