The Henry Knox Reading Circle will meet Monday, Aug. 12, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the American History Center, next to the Montpelier mansion on High Street/Route 131.
The group will be discussing the book "Revolutionary Characters" by Gordon S. Wood.
This book explores what made the country’s founders different. The group will focus on the first four chapters, which cover George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton at this meeting. Everyone is welcome.
