In addition to watercraft, nautical skill, home design and the popular Boatyard Dog Trials, visual, literary and performing arts will be featured during the 11th annual Maine Boats, Homes & Harbors Show Friday through Sunday, Aug. 9 through 11 in Harbor Park.

The musical lineup features the UMaine at Machias Ukulele Band Friday; the Bel-Isle Jazz group Saturday; Steelin’ Thunder Sunday. A number of Maine authors will sign their books during the day Saturday and Sunday.

Representatives of the visual arts will exhibit photographs, paintings, antique maps, handcrafted goods and rare treasures including wood-framed sunglasses, bronze sculpture, hand-woven bamboo scarves, marine models, leather bags, clothing and men’s apparel, jewelry in all styles and recycled sailcloth bags.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission will be $12 at the gate, free for children younger than 12.
