Big Jam inspires souls and soles

Jazz lovers are invited to the Big Jam In The Park concert Sunday, Aug. 11, at 1 p.m. in the Camden Amphitheatre, Atlantic Avenue.

The concert features Midcoast jazzmeisters Noah Plotkin, Jeff Densmore, Glen Dubois, Joel Watson, Tom Luther, Jason Dean and Mike Whitehead. The concert is free, but donations will be accepted. The musicians will play groove-oriented tunes that people will want to dance to.

“… jazz elements and funky elements and a little reggae rhythm thrown in!” promised Whitehead.
