Our pet pick of the week is Angel an adorable 2-and-a-half year old basset/beagle mix. What Angel lacks in height with her short little stubby legs she makes up for in personality. She's a real doll. Angel came in with her nine puppies. They have all been adopted into loving homes and now its Angel's turn. She is good with children and gets along with dogs. Angel is looking for a little heaven here on earth with a home and family of her very own.

The Pope Memorial Humane Society of Knox County would like to thank the Mid Coast ATV Club who donated a whopping $1,452.94 along with pet supplies from their recent annual charity ride and pet food drive to benefit the shelter. What a wonderful donation. Thank you to all who participated and for picking our organization to be the recipient of your generosity.
