Thomaston’s monthly contra dance will change date and venue for the August event, set for Saturday, Aug. 10, from 8 to 11 p.m. at Blueberry Cove Camp, 22 Blueberry Cove Road, located a half mile down Harts Neck Road from Route 131, just past the Tenants Harbor ball field.
The family-friendly dance will feature music by Twisted Strings and calling by John McIntire. Cost is $8, free for children. All dances are taught, and no partner is needed. For more information, call 372-6353.
