The Union Fair seeks volunteers for many tasks such as driving golf carts, working at the Matthews Museum, selling souvenirs, pouring wine at the Wine Pavilion, officiating barnyard games, parking cars and keeping the fairgrounds clean and neat for visitors.
Volunteering at the Union Fair has its benefits such as free admission to the fair on the days volunteered, free lunch when working at noon, a free "thank you" picnic after the fair.
If interested, contact Volunteer Coordinator Lyle Cramer, 11 Seven Tree Lane, Union, ME. 04862, by phone 785-2030 or email volunteers@unionfair.org.
This years Union Fair will be held Saturday, Aug. 17 through Saturday, Aug. 24. Please visit unionfair.org. for a complete schedule.
