For the 17th summer, musicians attending the Conductors Retreat at Medomak will present a full professional symphony orchestra concert played and led by each of the 39 conductors. Directed by Conductors Retreat founder and internationally regarded conductor and conducting teacher Kenneth Kiesler, the concert will take place Saturday, July 20, at 2 p.m. at Medomak Camp, 178 Liberty Road/Route 220.

Conductors of all levels, from graduate students to veteran professionals, attend the retreat for an intensive and demanding curriculum of musical and technical artistry, self development and community leadership. This year's program features music of Mozart, Tchaikovsky and Brahms; and highlights Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez for Guitar and Orchestra featuring guest soloist Matthew Ardizzone. The concert is free and open to the public; seating is limited and on a first come, first served basis.
