Waldoboro police officers responded to 264 calls July 2-15. Below are a few of the highlights.

July 4

Officer John Lash investigated a report of criminal mischief to a flag at a residence.

Lash charged a 14-year-old male from Waldoboro with domestic violence assault.

July 5

Sgt. Jamie Wilson investigated a report of a subject walking on the railroad tracks.

July 6

Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated a report from the Moose Crossing Garden Center of the theft of a bale of soil.

July 8

Officer Thomas Hoepner investigated a $15 gasoline drive-off from the Big Apple.

Fuller investigated a report of criminal threatening.

Officer Andrew Santheson investigated an accident in the Hannaford parking lot at 4:30 p.m. Jane Seeber, 87, of Connecticut, was attempting to park her 2009 Toyota utility vehicle and struck a parked 2002 Chevrolet van, owned by Robert Palmer, 59, of Waldoboro. No injuries were reported.

July 9

Officer Lash investigated an accident on Kaler’s Corner Road at 11:29 a.m. Gracie Hartung, 17, of Jefferson, was stopped at the intersection and decided to turn around. Her 1993 Chevrolet pickup truck struck Andrea Robinson, 35, of Waldoboro, who was behind her in a 2011 Chevrolet sedan. No injuries were reported.

Lash investigated a report of the theft of some tools (approximately $400 value). The tools were located and returned to the owner.

July 11

Officer Joslyn summoned a 15-year-male from Waldoboro for minor consumption of liquor.

Joslyn and Detective Benefield arrested Derick Winslow, 23, of Waldoboro for domestic violence assault.

July 13

Officer Fuller summoned Jessica Deshiro, 27, of Waldoboro for operating after suspension.

Officer Joslyn arrested Jeremy Peterson, 23, of Waldoboro for domestic violence criminal threatening.

Joslyn arrested Andrew Grimes, 35, of Nobleboro on a warrant.

July 14

Officer Fuller investigated a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle.

Officer Andrew Santheson arrested Daniel Chickering, 32, of Waldoboro for a violation of a protection from abuse order.

Officer Joslyn arrested a 17-year-old male from Union on a warrant.
