The Monday night blues series at Time Out Pub, 275 Main St., returns from its blues festival break Monday, July 22, from 7 to 10 p.m. with the Sean Chambers Band. Admission is $10.

Sean Chambers and his band — Richard "Hombre" Price, bass; Paul Broderick, drums; and Gary Keith, blues harp — serves up a no-frills menu of Chicago, Texas and Delta styles, driven by Chambers ferocious ax handling … Britain's Guitarist magazine named Chambers as one of the top 50 blues guitarists of the last century. Early this century, he was forced to relocate when his home in Florida was struck by two major hurricanes. By 2009, he was back into the studio to record what would be his most critically-acclaimed album to date, “Ten Til Midnight.” Chambers recently has taken on a new role, as lead vocalist and guitarist for the classic band Blackfoot, and this summer will boast two new albums, one from each band.

Upcoming in the weekly series is perennial fave Professor Louie and the Crowmatix ($10). For more information, visit northatlanticbluesfestival.com.
