Las Vegas and Boston Cheers Club comedian Jim McCue will perform Saturday, July 20, at 8 p.m. at the Camden Opera House, Elm Street/Route 1.

McCue, who has been dubbed Boston’s King of Crowd Work, will heat up the stage with his special mix of written material and improvisational comedy. He is a regular in Las Vegas;, a preferred entertainer on cruise ships; and has been featured on Comedy Central and NBC’s “Last Comic Standing.” When he is not amidst the glitz and glamour of the Vegas Strip, he is traveling around the globe to entertain in places like Montreal, Dublin and Edinburgh, as well as hundreds of military bases throughout Europe and the Middle East.

McCue blends thought-provoking materials and uncanny improv skills with a style that encourages audience participation. His Monty Python-esque humor promises to help everyone laugh their sunburns off.

Tickets are $16 in advance, $20 the night of the show. For tickets, visit camdenoperahouse.com/tickets.cfm.
