An exhibition of new works by St. George artists Sandra Mason Dickson and Chuck Paine will be shown Friday through Sunday, July 12 through 14, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Ocean View Grange, 435 Port Clyde Road/Route 131. There will be an artists’ reception Friday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Dickson, who lives in Port Clyde and maintains a summer studio on Monhegan Island, is known for her various landscapes, seascapes, portraits and painting of animals. Paine, who lives in Tenants Harbor, is best known as a marine architect and originally focused on painting yacht portraits. This year he has broadened his oeuvre to include still life and portraits, as well as marine scenes that often tell a story.

Both Dickson and Paine have studied with famed local artist Ronald Frontin. They paint au plein air together, and Dickson occasionally fits in time to teach drawing. For more information, call 372-8067 or 372-8147.
