The Farnsworth Art Museum will present a week-long watercolor painting project for children age 7 to 11 Monday through Friday, July 15 through 19, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Gamble Center for Education, on the corner of Union and Grace streets.

Led by art instructor Kathie Gass, this class will make boats then create worlds around these boats. Each day, a different visiting artist will join the class for lunch. A healthy snack will be provided; participants should bring their own lunches.

Gass studied drawing and fiber arts at the State University of New York and has been an art educator for the past 20 years. Trelawney O’Brien will be a studio assistant for this class.

The fee is $130, $106 for museum members. For more information or to register, call 596-0949 or visit farnsworthmuseum.org/education.
