Local musicians Lynne Frey and Adam Williams will perform Saturday, July 6, during the new Thomaston Farmer's Market by the Thomaston Academy building, 60 Main St./Route 1. The market opens at 9 a.m. and the music will begin at 10 a.m.

The duo play popular music from then to now, with a special emphasis on songs from the 1960s to the ‘80s whose lyrics are probably familiar. Their songs include selections from folk, country, blues and jazz.

Frey and Williams play bass and guitar to accompany themselves and have been performing around the Midcoast for a few years, including manay a Thursday night open mic at Highlands Coffee House in Thomaston.
