The Medomak Valley Land Trust will host an “up-river” paddle Saturday, June 29.

All canoeists and kayakers are invited to join for this easy paddle along a scenic stretch of the Medomak River. The trip will depart from the picnic area across from Hannaford on Route 32 in Waldoboro at 10 a.m. and will last approximately an hour and a half.

Participants should provide their own boat and life preserver, and paddlers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. This trip is great for paddlers of all ages and experience levels, and is in a good location to see different kinds of wildlife.

This trip is part of the Medomak Valley Land Trust’s summer paddle series. For more information about this or other upcoming trips, or in case of inclement weather, please contact the MVLT office at 832-5570 or email Liz at mvlt@midcoast.com.
