The Center for Maine Contemporary Art’s free monthly ArtLab for All Ages will be held Saturday, July 6, at 2 p.m. at CMCA, 162 Russell Ave. Inspired by live models (i.e., fresh summer flowers), participants will use stamps, paint and collage to create multimedia artwork bouquets. The workshop is open to everyone.

Marcie Jan Bronstein, an artist, designer and teacher with a special interest in collaborating with children, will instruct the workshop. Known for her hand-colored images and work with the photographic negative, she will be leading ArtLab summer sessions for children this year with Russell Kahn, art teacher at Camden Hills Regional High School. Bronstein will teach week-long ArtCamp sessions for children 6 to 10, and Kahn will give three-day workshops for older children, age 1 to 15. For more information,  visit cmcanow.org.

ArtLab is made possible in part by support from Camden National Bank, the Milton and Sally Avery Art Foundation and individual donors. The nonprofit Center for Maine Contemporary Art’s four season-opening exhibitions run through Sunday, July 7.
