The Midcoast’s farmers markets offer live entertainment in addition to fresh agricultural products, and the last week of June has quite the musical harvest.

On Friday, June 28, the Belfast Farmers’ Market will present local musician Scot Cannon from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Belfast market takes place most Fridays on the grounds of Waterfall Arts, 256 High St.; First Fridays, it moves downtown.

On Saturday, June 29, the Camden Farmers’ Markets will present St. George folk musician and artists Angela Pomerleau from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Camden market takes place in the upper parking lot behind the Knox Mill complex, accessible by either Washington or Knowlton streets.

A whole band of local music-makers will perform during the new Thomaston Farmers' Market Saturday, June 29, starting at 10 a.m. The Ridge Review features singer/songwriter Rob Elliot on vocals, Steve Davis on banjo, Lise Becu on fiddle and Doug Hamel on mandolin. Featured will be a few selections from Elliot's soon-to-be-released CD.

Thomaston’s market is located at the Thomaston Academy building, 60 Main St./Route 1, and runs from 9 a.m. to noon, rain or shine.
