Author and creator of hooked rugs Jacqueline Hanson and her co-author Trudy Brown will present a program on Waldoboro Rugs Sunday, June 23, at 1 p.m. at the Waldoborough Historical Society Museum, 1164 Main St/Route 220. The event is free and open to the public.

Hanson will demonstrate her hooking technique and give information on the process and the rugs. The museum’s collection of Waldoboro rugs will be on exhibit, and the authors’ book “Sculptured Rugs in Waldoboro Style” will be available for purchase.
