Youthlinks is gearing up for another summer of free day camp for Rockland area youth. There are exciting schedule changes and program offerings this year.

Thanks to a new collaboration with Headacre Farm in Owls Head, Youthlinks will be offering four weeks of Farm Camp. Camp runs Mondays to Thursdays, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., beginning Monday, July 1. The program is open to current fifth- to eighth-grade students. Pick up and drop off for the program is at Youthlinks in Rockland.

Mornings on the farm will include games, scavenger hunts and crafts. In the afternoon, the group will hit the road to continue the summer camp adventure. They will make art projects, play games, hike, swim and have a blast exploring Midcoast Maine. Thursday is field trip day; trips could include beaches, museums and parks.

There are limited spaces available for this free summer camp. Register right away or contact Joelle Albury at Youthlinks, 594-2221.
