“Women's Works,” an annual performance project presenting original modern dance works created by female choreographers primarily from the Midcoast, in collaboration with New York City educator and choreographer Jesse Phillips-Fein and talented guest artists, poets and musicians from all reaches and walks of life, has launched a Kickstarter campaign for this year’s production.

The campaign, which runs through June 29, has a goal of $1,750 to cover part of the theater rental and publicity expenses. This year’s “Women’s Works” will be presented Saturday and Sunday, July 13 and 14, at the Rockport Opera House. Pledge rewards includes prints and DVDs of the show; a dance class with Shana Bloomstein; and ads in the program.
