Hearts Ever Young (formerly known as Young At Heart) Productions of Midcoast Maine will present its fourth annual production Friday through Sunday, June 14 through 16, at 2 p.m. at the downtown Lincoln Theater. Last year’s show was at the Waldo Theatre, and the group includes a number of Waldoboro performers.

Dubbed “Reel to Real — A Salute to the Silver Screen,” the program consists of beautiful songs, rollicking dances and laughable comedy from the most famous movie blockbusters, beginning with the silent of the 1920s to present-day films.

From its 2010 opening show, Hearts Ever Young has grown from 32 members to the current 52. They come from nine (at last count) Lincoln County communities of the Midcoast including Waldoboro, Jefferson and Nobleboro. Rehearsals are held Wednesday afternoons at Lincoln Home in Newcastle, and anyone age 65 to 100 is welcome to join or attend a rehearsal. Hearts Ever Young believes that process of aging brings with it increased perception, understanding, tolerance, joy and knowledge about our world in all its variety.

The production team includes Carol Teel as artistic/stage director; Carol Schell, producer; Carol Cirigliano, choreographer; and Sean Fleming, music director and pit band leader. Master of Ceremonies is Nick Azzaretti; Wayne Schaffer is stage manager, with Rita Cherubini as onstage manager.

A $10 donation is requested at the door. For more information, call 563-3364.
