The West Bay Rotary’s second annual Duck Derby took place Saturday, June 1, on Megunticook River in Camden under sunny skies and was a rousing success, according to organizers. More than 2,500 ducks were released en masse at 4 p.m. and within 15 minutes a winner was decided. There was plenty of water this year that provided a fast course.

West Bay Rotary would like to thank all those who bought race tickets and the businesses that supported the event by donating prizes or purchasing and decorating business ducks. A special thanks to The First for organizing the childrens' tent during the event.
