The Knox County Republicans will hold their monthly meeting Tuesday, June 11.

The meeting will take place at the Trade Winds Motor Inn in downtown Rockland. A social time will be held at 6:30 p.m. will the meeting beginning at 7 p.m. A number of items on the agenda include reporting on the recent successful fundraiser, summer events, an update from the state platform committee and a legislative update.

The guest speaker for the evening will be Dan Remian. Remian's topic for the evening will be Wind Energy and the False Promises for Maine. Remian is an engineer and president of CD Engineering, a corrosion engineering firm. He has more than 52 cumulative years as the chairman of planning boards, zoning boards, airport commissions, wetlands commissions, conservation commissions and school boards in three New England states. He is currently the chairman of the planning board and board of assessors in Cushing.

All registered Republicans residing in Knox County are welcome to attend. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
