The First Universalist Church, 345 Broadway, will host an Evening with Grown-ups Saturday, June 8, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Those of A Certain Age are invited to come together for an evening of building community with food, friends and a movie; there is no cost to participate.

Anyone who has ever been to a book group that explored in-depth a beloved story, learned about a critical issue or just had a good laugh with fun people is invited to enjoy a similar experience — no reading required. The Evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a potluck social. Guests will be given a question or topic to discuss with as many other guests as possible before everyone gets comfortable to watch “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel” at 6:30 p.m.

There will be a facilitated discussion following the screening. Bring a beverage or a snack to share. For more information, call 594-8750.
