Thanks to a grant from The Georges River Education Foundation, fourth-graders in Susan Davenport’s class at Lura Libby School, were provided with new science materials.

The students learned about potential, kinetic, and alternative energy by creating buzzers, waterwheels, and wind turbines.

They also participated in activities on how the human body functions by creating skeletons and muscle models.

GREF supports children by making grants to teachers, and other professional staff. Grants are for instructional goals, educational resources, and professional development.
