Christians in Action or CIA are coming together Saturday, May 25 at Sandy Beach for a morning of cleaning up the shoreline.

They will start at 7 a.m. Jake Barbour and Bob Curtis are heading up this community project and would like to welcome anyone to join them for the morning.

CIAs group purpose is to promote fellowship and expand opportunity for outreach to the community and to encourage and support churches and ministries.

The monthly CIA Community Breakfast is on the second Tuesday of each month. Breakfast begins at 6 a.m. at Grace Bible Fellowship.

The public is welcome. This is a time to share experiences and network with other community members. The group is made up of men and women from all different denominations coming together as one to share their personal faith journey, as well as, listening to guest speakers give their personal testimony while enjoying home fries, scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, juice, coffee and tea.

The next CIA community breakfast is Wednesday, June 12. Walker Hutchins will be the speaker of the morning. In the past year, some of the speakers have been Tony “Tomahawk” Balcer, Dr. Shane Lovely, Kate Braestrup, Sharon Setz, Jake Barbour, Walter Foster, and David Grima.

Please call Richard McKusic at 596-2130 or Jake Barbour at 975-1515 for more information on either of these events.
