Through a successful series of training videos, he is widely regarded as the face of safety. One of the most dynamic motivational safety speakers in the world, he has helped thousands of people through Live Motivational Safety Presentations.

When Morecraft tells his story of personal tragedy of suffering an injury while working on a job site, the audience sits in rapt attention as they are moved to new levels of awareness.

“For 15 of the 27 years that I worked at Exxon, I thought, accidents don’t happen to me, they happen to the other guy,’” he said. “Unfortunately, this is a common perception in many workplaces. But on a hot, humid day in August 1980 it happened to me,” he adds, explaining that in a work place accident he suffered third-degree burns over 50 percent of his body. Where his clothing had burned off, the burns were to his bones.

It was this life changing experience that lead Morecraft to create an internationally recognized program on safety that has made him one of the most effective occupational and personal safety presenters in the world. His DVDs are mandatory in hundreds of safety training programs and orientations as well as OSHA required training.

Morecraft has that rare and unique ability to speak with ordinary words and conjure extraordinary images. His primary messages are "Safety is about going home at the end of the day, kissing your wife and hugging your kids. We are each responsible for our own safety,” he points out. They aren't new messages, but Charlie gives us a powerful new way of looking at them.

His message reaches and touches people at all levels in an organization from blue collar workers to the CEO and President. It is a universal message.
