Dunkin’ Donuts of Maine is supporting The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center and their network of doctors, nurses, volunteers, parents and families.

On May 22, participating Dunkin' Donuts restaurants throughout Maine and Coos and Carroll counties in New Hampshire will donate $1 from every Iced Coffee sold to The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital in Portland.

Every Dunkin' Donut franchise in the state is participating in the event, including the Rockland, Rockport and Thomaston locations.

Customers are able to purchase any size or flavor of iced coffee at regular price to participate.

“We are thrilled to partner with our Dunkin' Donuts restaurants, which are locally owned and operated, for Iced Coffee Day where every dollar raised will directly benefit the children and families we serve,” said John Bancroft, Chief of Pediatrics at The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital, in a news release. “Their commitment to supporting local communities is a perfect match for Maine’s only full-service children’s hospital and we can’t wait to kick off Iced Coffee season with this great fundraiser

From well-child visits to specialized medical and surgical treatment of complex, life-threatening illnesses and injuries, The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital offers comprehensive, family-centered care from an exceptional team of doctors, nurses and other medical professionals.

“The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital has not only served as an amazing medical facility for my daughter Ashlynn but as a source of comfort and strength to our family,” said Kristen Wescott. “They provide world-class care but also an environment of caring and we can’t thank Dunkin’ Donuts enough for wanting to support. I encourage everyone to grab an iced coffee on the 22nd — for themselves or someone they love — and help them raise as much money as possible.”
