The Waldoboro Word of Life Church, 41 Old Route 1, will host a concert by Kindred Hearts Saturday, May 25.  The 7 p.m. concert will be preceded by a potluck supper starting at 5:30 p.m.

Kindred Hearts is a Southern Gospel singing group based in central Maine. The group’s mission is a simple one: to spread the Gospel message through song and word testimony. It is the hope of the ministry that both believer and non-believer will be encouraged to face life’s hardships and challenges by God’s grace.

The group is a family trio comprised of three siblings — Brian Woodbury, Amy Dillon and Diane Briggs; they are sometime joined by other family members. Having grown up in church, the siblings create music influenced by many gospel genres, but their blend of harmonies is rooted in traditional Southern Gospel. This style encompasses a mix of great Southern Gospel classics, traditional and contemporary worship, along with original compositions that minister to young and old alike.
