A March against Monsanto will be held Saturday, May 25, at 2 p.m., beginning at First Universalist Church, 345 Broadway.

Participants are asked to wear red and bring signs.

Participants are walking to protect food supply, support local farmers, spread awareness about the harmful effects of genetically-modified foods, promoting organic solutions, expose the cronyism between big business and government, bring accountability to those responsible for the corruption, according to a news release.

The walk will stop briefly at Good Tern Co-op before continuing the loop.
