Waldoboro officers responded to 206 calls for service from May 6-13. Below are a few of the highlights:

May 7

Officer Thomas Hoepner summoned a 15-year-old male for assault.

Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated a report of harassment on Facebook by a female in Missouri.

Bartunek summoned William Prescott, 54, of Waldoboro for criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon.

May 9

Officer John Lash summoned Jessica Garan, 40, of Waldoboro for speed.

Lash arrested Kelly Hall, 29, of Waldoboro on a warrant.

Officer Bartunek investigated a crash. Eugene Lovechenko, 65, of Brunswick suffered a medical issue while trying the exit the Dunkin' Donuts parking lot at 4:01 p.m. and struck a parked vehicle. Lovechenko's 2000 Subaru sedan hit James Pennell, 59, of Topsham in the passenger's side of his 2009 Chevrolet pickup. No injuries were reported.

Lash investigated a report of burglary.

May 11

Officer Jeffery Fuller arrested Joel Harkins, 32, of Waldoboro on a warrant.

Fuller investigated a complaint from the Big Apple of a $50 gas drive off.

May 12

Officer Fuller investigated a crash on the Feyler’s Corner Road at 1:12 p.m. Ian Grierson, 32, of Union was driving his 2005 Nissan pickup and became distracted by his radio. Grierson took his eyes off the road, struck a telephone pole and came to rest in a ditch. It is unknown if any injuries were sustained.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.
