The Friends of Rockland Public Library will hold their annual Book, Plant & Bake Sale Saturday, June 8, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the front lawn of the library.

Members of the Friends will receive special early admission at 8:30 a.m. Not a Friend, but still want to take advantage of early admission? Sign up to become a Friend the day of the event.

There will be a huge variety of fiction and non-fiction available at rock-bottom prices, as well as a wonderful assortment of potted plants and baked goods. Come find the best deals under the sun.

Been thinning out the garden or have a bunch of gently used books to donate? If so please contact Rebecca Albright at 975-3946.

The Friends welcome year-round donations of used books, videos, DVDs, and CDs in good condition. There is a particular need for children's books.

The Friends' used book store on the library's lower level, the Book Stop, is open Tuesdays through Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. all year. All proceeds from sales go to support library programs and collections. For more information please contact the library at 594-0310 or visit rocklandlibrary.org.
