Camden Hills Regional High School has announced the cumulative academic records for the class of 2006 will be destroyed beginning June 10, 2013.

Federal regulations — under the Family Educational Privacy Act (FERPA) — stipulate rights to these records transfer to students upon turning 18. As such, records will only be released to students with appropriate identification (license, passport, etc.) or to parents of students who present both signed permission from their student and appropriate identification.

Students who graduated in 2006 who would like to have possession of their cumulative record should call the School Counseling Department at 236-7800 ext. 360 or 361 to make arrangements to pick up the record or ask questions.

Students should note the permanent high school transcript will be maintained in perpetuity.
