Bay Chamber Music School invites the public to its popular Odeon Spring Concert Tuesday, May 21, at 7 p.m. at the Rockport Opera House, 6 Central St. The concert is sponsored by Camden National Bank and is free to all.

Dean Stein will be featured guest violinist. Stein, well known throughout the state as a member of the revered Portland String Quartet, will perform Johann Sebastian Bach’s  iconic Brandenburg Concerto No. 4 with the Odeon Adult Orchestra. Also performing will be Odeon Allegro and Symphony orchestras. The program features an original work by Oceanside High School’s graduating senior and Odeon cellist Cole Barbour. The ensembles are lead by conductor Deirdre McClure, with coaching by Gilda Joffe.

The Odeon Ensembles Program is open to all instruments — strings, winds, brass and percussion. Bay Chamber Music School invites local musicians of all ages and abilities to audition for the fall term of the Odeon Orchestra program later this summer.
