Cushing seeks volunteers for town positions

The Cushing Board of Selectmen are seeking volunteers to fill five vacant positions on municipal boards.

Positions to be filled include one member and one alternate member of the assessment review board, one member of the addressing committee, one member of the the appeals board and a health officer post.

The addressing committee works to compile addresses in town and erect road signs to help rescue squads identify residential locations.

Former Health Officer Joe Carr has been working to complete tasks associated with the committee and is seeking assistance.

Town Clerk Lisa Young said former members have either reached their term or resigned, leaving vacancies.
