The Oceanside girls lacrosse team appears to get better each day and continued that trend Tuesday, April 23 against visiting Winslow.

The Mariners and Black Raiders battled in the cold, rainy conditions, with the hosts pulling away in the second half for a 9-5 victory.

Oceanside, a club sport that will earn full-fledged varsity status next season, is 3-2 on the spring.

Leading Oceanside's offense were Lily Vachon (2 goals, assist), Olivia Hupper (2 goals), Kim Young (2 goals), Sydney Brooks (goal, assist), Janelle Fowlie (goal) and Brittany Rytky (goal).
