A two-vehicle crash in Warren required emergency medical crews to extricate one man out of a vehicle, who was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries, said police.

Corey Reynolds, 29, of Rockland was traveling north on Route 1 when he rear-ended a van driven by a 17-year-old female from Nobleboro attempting to turn left into the Calvary Baptist Church parking lot, said Knox County Sheriff's Lt. Kirk Guerette.

The juvenile has a driver's permit.

There were five passengers in the van, and no one was injured.

Reynolds was extracted from his Dodge Intrepid and taken to Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport, said Guerette.

Traffic was stopped for a half hour.

Warren Fire, EMS, Thomaston EMS, Thomaston police and the Knox County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene around 10:30 a.m.

Reynolds' vehicle was totaled, and the van sustained damage to its rear right corner, but was driven from the scene.
