While the weather was not "freezing" as it was for the first Oceanside High School preseason baseball play day April 6, the second event on Saturday, April 13 still had to deal with wet, cold conditions after wintry weather returned to the area Friday night into Saturday morning.

However, all that weather adversity did not prevent the preseason diamond play from heating up as the Mariners hosted Camden Hills of Rockport, Foxcroft Academy of Dover-Foxcroft and Hermon in games April 13.
