The Camden Hills Regional High School sailing team raced in the Fort Gorges Regatta on Saturday, April 13.

The regatta, hosted by Yarmouth High School, was held in Portland Harbor at the Sail Maine facility.

Camden Hills was represented in "A" fleet by Thatcher Chamberlin (skipper) and Martha Moskowitz (crew). The pair finished first, fifth, first, first and sixth across five races, coming in second overall in the fleet to the host team.

"B" fleet representatives were Raine Ellison (skipper) and Grace Harrison (crew), whose fifth, fifth, first, first, first performances were best in the fleet.

The team overall was narrowly edged by a "very strong and consistent Yarmouth team," said Windjammer coach Bob White.

The Camden Hills club team is newly-formed this year and practices at the Rockland Community Sailing waterfront facility located at The Apprenticeshop in Rockland.
