Mariners navigate to another early-spring win

The Oceanside girls lacrosse club squad, which will be full-fledged varsity next spring, won again Thursday afternoon, April 11, notching a 14-5 preseason victory over Winslow.

Mariner goalie Jalynn Hurd made eight saves and received plenty of offensive support from teammates.

Keying the hosts' offense were: Kimberly Young (3 goals), Lily Vachon (2 goals, 2 assists), Olivia Hupper (2 goals), Isabella Garver (2 goals), Cortney Simmons (2 goals), Janelle Fowlie (goal), Brittany Rytky (goal), Sydney Brooks (goal), Rebekah Freeman (assist) and Alexis Pine (assist).
