A single vehicle crash in Washington March 30 resulted in no injuries, according to Knox County Sheriff's Deputy Chief Tim Carroll.

James Perry, 71, of Ohio was traveling south on Liberty Road when his right front tire hit the soft shoulder as it came around a curve. Perry tried to bring the vehicle under control, but the car flipped over, ending up on its roof. The black 2000 Volkswagen is believed to be a total loss.

Members of the Washington Fire Department responded to the accident, which occurred at 11:30 a.m.
