Rockport Public Library on Saturday, March 30, hosted a morning of free Easter events in Rockport Opera House and adjacent Mary Lea Park that drew young attendees for an egg hunt, face painting and fun with sidewalk chalk.
Volunteer Barbara Cazmazija said despite having no children or grandchildren in the area, she and husband Fred Reinke buy, fill, and distribute the eggs for the Easter egg hunt on behalf of the Rockport Boosters.
"It's fun, I love doing it," Cazmazija said. "It's fun to watch [the children.]"
