Keegan Pieri, a former Camden Hills Regional High School athletic standout, is one of three Bowdoin College men's basketball players to earn All-State honors in awards announced by the Maine Men's Basketball Coaches & Writers Association.
Pieri, a sophomore from Camden, was recognized as a first-team All-State selection, while classmate Bryan Hurley of Watertown, Mass. and junior Andrew Madlinger of Basking Ridge, N.J. earned second-team honors.
Pieri had an excellent all-around campaign for the Polar Bears, averaging 13.3 points to rank second on the squad and a team-leading six rebounds per contest. He also connected on 49.8 percent of his shots from the field for the campaign.
Bowdoin finished with a record of 14-10 and ranked fifth in the conference.
