Professional baseball player Mike MacDonald will instruct at a youth baseball clinic on Sunday, April 7 from 10 a.m. to noon at Lincolnville Central School.
The cost of the clinic, open to all youngsters regardless of residency or league affiliation (Little League or Cal Ripken), is $25. The clinic will focus on youngsters ages 8-13.
To register, email MacDonald at MikeMacDonald.MH@gmail.com.
The clinic will give youngsters an opportunity to refine their mechanics and learn new techniques. Players will be put through a number of drills and exercises designed to improve mechanics and overall pitching delivery.
MacDonald is a former Camden-Rockport High School three-sport standout who pitched four years at Division I University of Maine in Orono and has performed at a high level in professional baseball at the Minor League level for years.
Last year, MacDonald finished his season with the Portland Sea Dogs, the Triple-AAA affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.
