Appleton Planning Board

Appleton Planning Board will meet on the first three Mondays in March at 7 p.m. at Appleton Town Hall. The meetings on the 4th and 11th will be work sessions. The meeting on the 18th will be a public hearing from 7 to 8 p.m., followed by a regular monthly meeting at 8 p.m.

The planning board is developing proposed wording to amend the Site Plan Review Ordinance on the 4th and 11th. We are mainly looking at how home occupations are dealt with and ways to have the ordinance apply to change-of-use situations. The goal is to receive public input and come up with articles to put on the June town meeting warrant. The public is welcome to attend any of the meetings. The public is encouraged to attend the hearing March 18 to comment on our ideas and present your own.
