Following the event's postponement Monday, March 4, the Medomak Valley High School Winter Sports Awards Banquet has been rescheduled for Monday, March 11 at 6:30 p.m.
The banquet will be held in the school's auditorium and will consist of multiple award presentations from both the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference and the booster's club, as well as individual team awards.
Student-athletes are reminded to dress appropriately. The booster's club will provide light refreshments in the lobby.
The banquet was initially moved after school at MVHS was dismissed March 4 due to a problem with the school's water system. The school reopened March 5 after the school's water was restored by Haskell's Water Treatment in Rockland.
