There will be a memorial service for Ashley Lynn Dare-Pendleton Saturday, March 9, at 2 p.m. at the United Christian Church in Lincolnville Center on Route 173.
Ashley died at age 20 Thursday, Feb. 14 after a long battle with cancer.
The family also will hold a celebration of Ashley's life from 3 to 6 p.m. at Lincolnville Community Center, next to the church. The celebration will include pictures, slideshows and Ashley's favorite music and "munchies." Food and beverages will be provided.
The celebration of life will be an opportunity for all to share funny, crazy and sad memories of Ashley in a comfortable atmosphere.
